Kroft, a legendary vampire, returns from sleep. Kroft attacks a couple in a graveyard, raping the woman. The child born feeds only on blood from his mother's breast.

Subject: William Smith is an original
I was in an LA area airport last year and ran into William Smith and his wife at the gate while wating for a flight. I told him that "Grave of the Vampire" was my favorite one of his films, and he answered "Mine too."

What a guy-- still larger than life and a real gentleman. If you ever have the chance to see him at a fan convention do it!

Subject: Okay, there are worse vampire movies...
This is pretty awful unless you just want to re-live that 70s bad drive-in movie experience (though don't expect your gal to get all scared and cuddle up to you).
I gave it a generous two stars, because at least there was a story that unfolded (a bit more to it than the description) but if you want to be actually entertained...look elsewhere.
A suckfest in more ways than one!

Subject: Ugly vampire
This movie stinks. Nothing is good or good looking.
A guy proposes at the grave yard and she accepts. The only smart move was to lock the car doors while they got it on in the back seat, but that was stupid too.
